I am one most of mine life has been lived by the thoughts of others in regards to what they thought I could do or become in life. I am one with learning challenges, but overcome them. I mention I was told that I am not able to become a speaker or writer but I am one now. I mention I was told that I am not able to learn and do data entry work but has learned it well and still doing it successfully.I was not made to be put into ‘ boxes”. Are You in Boxes?
That was a great introduction, I can hardly wait to hear what I have to say.
Today can be the day that turns the rest of your days into something amazing…

A loud scream! Prior to a safety briefing concerning a recent fall from a scaffold platform in our plant. The employee fell 22 feet, landed on his feet and was (miraculously) not injured. The scream definitely got our attention!
In a recent survey, one-third of people reported they had been offended by someone from another generation at work. This means that one out of three people in your organization have been hurt or upset by a remark, a joke, an outfit, or an attitude.
For the first time in history, four generations are working together under the same roof, and sometimes, it’s not pretty.
(My opening lines when speaking about generational issues.)

Harv Ecker and welcome to the Millionaire Mind – The Secret Psychology of Wealth.”
I was a young Product Manager, and I had to start a presentation for 250 reps about a new “fast acting” drug.
I started this way:
“Hello, goodbye”
then I walk away (???) and back again to “normal” presentation.

My doctor told me I’ve used so much artificial sweetner I’ve come down with artificial diabetes.
After the laughter has died down. I say seriously I can show you how to avoid the diabetic health curse which is sweeping our countries.
I did a conference breakout session on Media and Children. After ensuring that everyone had a hand-out and was settled, I started the presentation with nothing . . . just silence. When the room got uncomfortable (never longer than 45 seconds), I asked the group what that felt like and why it was uncomfortable. The point was that media is everywhere and we always feel like we must have a TV or radio on to fill the silence. Then, I went on to discuss the impact of the media on our children.
So, my opening line was silence!
